Auschwitz Birkenau & Schindler’s Factory Tour

Auschwitz-Birkenau and Schindler’s Factory One Day Tour from Kraków

This one-day tour is designed for visitors who want to deepen their understanding of Jewish history in Poland and World War II while making the most of their time in Kraków.

The tour combines a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp, with a guided visit to Oskar Schindler’s Factory Museum in Kraków. Together, these two sites provide a powerful and educational perspective on the Holocaust and the wartime history of the city and its Jewish community.

Shared One Day Tour from Kraków

Our shared Auschwitz-Birkenau and Schindler’s Factory tour from Kraków lasts approximately 8–8.5 hours. We offer hotel pickup from central Kraków or a convenient meeting point option. Transport is provided in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking tour leader.

The drive to Auschwitz takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes. After visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau, the group is transferred to Kraków for the second part of the tour at Schindler’s Factory.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Visit

At Auschwitz-Birkenau, you will join a guided tour led by a licensed museum guide. The visit lasts approximately 3.5 hours, including around 2 hours in Auschwitz I and 1–1.5 hours in Auschwitz II–Birkenau.

The two camps are located about 3 km apart, with transport provided between them. Visitors are expected to behave respectfully, as the site is a place of remembrance.

Schindler’s Factory Museum Visit

After returning to Kraków, the tour continues at Oskar Schindler’s Factory. The museum visit lasts around 1.5 hours and is led by a local guide.

The main exhibition, “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945”, presents the history of the city and its residents through photographs, documents, multimedia displays and interactive elements, focusing on both Jewish and Polish experiences during the war.
