Auschwitz Self Guided Tour

Auschwitz-Birkenau Self-Guided Tour from Kraków
Auschwitz-Birkenau, liberated in January 1945, is now a museum and memorial dedicated to preserving the memory of the victims. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by over two million people each year.
Shared Self-Guided Tour
Our shared self-guided tour lets you visit the museum at your own pace. We provide transport in a modern, air-conditioned Mercedes vehicle and assistance from an English-speaking tour leader. After pickup and a short introduction, an educational documentary in English about the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau will be shown during the drive.
Upon arrival, the tour leader will explain the rules and procedures at the museum. After ticket collection for Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau, the visit begins with a short stop at the Judenrampe (about 30 minutes). You will receive a guidebook in your chosen language with maps and suggested routes.
You will have up to around 2 hours to visit Auschwitz I independently, followed by transfer to Auschwitz II–Birkenau, where you will have about 1 hour to explore. After the visit, we provide return transport back to Kraków.
